Sloe Valley Singers in 1965 at Willamette University in Salem, Oregon.
Date: 05/04/1970
We won the northwest folk singing contest against University of Oregon, Oregon State, Washington State and others. We cut a record. We named ourselves the Sloe Valley Singers because we drank Sloe Gin before every performance. My good friend Kenny Swanson playing banjo at right in picture, died in late 90's.
